The Harpies have descended!
We are starting up our busiest time of the year with Spanish Nights III and Witching Hour 666. We were nominated for a bunch of Theatre Tampa Bay awards! Congrats and thank you to Team Pirates of Penzance on a fantastic show. BRAVA, Melissa!
Spanish Nights is in rehearsal and we have a new set and new venue. We’ll now be in the Teco Theatre, a fantastic black box space on the Straz campus where the sky is the limit! Our original concept for the show set it outside in w town square, but due to various constraints, we made it an indoor scene.
Now due to covid and space shifting at the Straz, we get the chance to set the show in an outdoor scene! As Melissa says, “Things are always working out for me.” We also get a chance to do a show in Teco before we run OUTLoud 2023 in the same theatre. That’s always helpful when launching a new show like OUTLoud. As with our other shows, we challenge ourselves to make each one bigger and better than the year before.
